Team Paragon Triumph at GYBR!
26 June 2017
Team Paragon kick started our 2017 charity activities on the 17th June with the Great Yorkshire Bike Ride!
The charity cycle saw almost 1,800 cyclists ride over 70 miles of stunning Yorkshire countryside from Wetherby all the way to Filey!
The team of 13 included John Dobson, Chris Nuttall, Graham Taylor, Leonie Ashby, Tim North, Andy Wilmer, Lee Coleman, Maciej Sobocinski, Tim Chamberlin, Andy Smith, Sammy Simpson, Matt Bilham and Martyn Guy.
Once all donations have been collected, the team will have raised almost £2,000 including gift aid which has far surpassed their target! The charities sponsored include The Candlelighters Trust and Yorkshire Cancer Research, details of the other charities can be found here.

We spoke to Chris Nuttall, Technical Director here at Paragon, about his experience on the day, 'Amazing effort by everyone to get up those hills in 27°C heat and all the way to a cold beer and a paddle in the sea at Filey. Thank you & Well Done!'
Our upcoming charity events include Tough Mudder on July 30th and the Micklegate Soap Box Challenge on 28th August, but for now, Well Done to Team Paragon for their huge efforts at GYBR 2017 and here's to next year!
